Roadmap

# Shipped, planned, and what you're *asking for*.

Respira ships constantly. This roadmap builds itself from two things — the features customers request and vote on, and every release that goes out. Vote to push what matters up the list.

**8** shipped **8** open to vote **13** planned

Recently released. Pulled straight from the changelog.

9.2.22 Plugin 2026-10-24

#### On a Bricks site, asking for the theme builder's headers and footers now points to the right tools

- On a Bricks site, asking for the theme builder's headers and footers now points to the right tools. An agent working on a Bricks site called the Divi Theme Builder tools for the header and footer and got only "Divi Theme Builder is not available", with nothing about where Bricks keeps them, so it guessed.
- A Bricks health check with a missing or wrong page id explains itself. bricks\_health\_check called without a numeric page id came back as a bare "no route" error. It now says it needs the id of the page, post or Bricks template to check, and where to get one; a page id that does not exist says the same.

9.2.21 Plugin 2026-10-24

#### The Observe tool profile works over Claude's connector again

- The Observe tool profile works over Claude's connector again. With Settings > Tool Governance > Tool Profile set to Observe, every call to the site's own MCP endpoint (/respira/v1/mcp) failed, reads included: initialize, tools/list and every read came back as HTTP 403 respira\_governance\_denied, which Claude shows as a server error.
- Observe allows every tool the registry marks read-only, except the two that show drafts outside the site. export\_design\_direction and similar reads whose names start with no read prefix were refused under Observe on every surface; the profile now asks the registry first.

9.2.20 Plugin 2026-10-23

#### Publish only keys can draft blog posts, not only pages

- Publish only keys can draft blog posts, not only pages. Use create\_custom\_post with type: post, or POST /respira/v1/post-types/post/posts, then approve the post's current content\_version as expected\_version to publish it at the same ID, with the caches purged as for a page.
- The author of a Publish only key's new draft is the site's default author. Set the user with wp option update respira\_publish\_only\_default\_author <user ID> (or the respira\_publish\_only\_default\_author filter). When it is unset, or names a user who cannot edit that kind of content, the draft is credited to the key's own user, as before.
- A new page draft can carry its featured image from the start. featured\_image (an attachment ID or URL, the 9.2.17 shapes) is now accepted when a Publish only key creates a page or post draft.

9.2.19 Plugin 2026-10-22

#### Inline SVG icons show again on pages converted in fidelity mode

- Inline SVG icons show again on pages converted in fidelity mode. The stylesheet Respira carries with a converted page starts by reverting the builder's and the theme's defaults inside the page, and that reset reached into inline SVG too.
- A link around a card or a call button keeps its href on Elementor. An <a> wrapped around block content (a card, a tel: link, a call to action) became a container with the link set but the tag left at div, and Elementor prints a container's link only when its tag is a, so the links rendered without an href.
- Buttons and accessibility attributes in fidelity mode. A <button> holding an icon became a plain div and lost its aria-label; it now stays a <button>, as written, inside a text element. Buttons, headings and images keep aria-\*, role and their other attributes on builders that cannot put custom attributes on a rebuilt element.

9.2.18 Plugin 2026-10-21

#### The security audit reports the PHP version against the 21 October 2026 PHP security release

- The security audit reports the PHP version against the 21 October 2026 PHP security release. PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35 fix two remote code execution flaws in PHP itself (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619).
- Respira no longer reports itself as damaged when nothing is wrong. Since 9.2.14 Respira notices when one of its files no longer declares the class it should, which is how a security scanner's removal shows up.
- An element edit on a draft duplicate no longer says it went live. Updating an element on a duplicate by its own ID answered "Element updated on live page." with the duplicate as its own original.

9.2.17 Plugin 2026-10-21

#### Store pages no longer make Respira look up the site's administrators for every signed-in customer

- Store pages no longer make Respira look up the site's administrators for every signed-in customer. Since 9.1.34 Respira checks whether the site's administrators include someone on its Respira account. On a store, the browser connection's script asked that question on every page a signed-in customer opened, and the answer was a user query that ran again each time.
- featured\_image sets the featured image, or says why it cannot. The site's own MCP connection told agents to send featured\_image as an attachment ID or URL in text, and then quietly ignored anything that was not an object, while answering that the post was saved.
- Direct editing no longer skips the approval of plugin, user and delete tools. On a site with direct editing turned on, a REST call that sent edit\_target: "live" skipped the approval step for every tool that needs one apart from redirects, so installing or deleting a plugin, deleting a user or deleting a post ran without a person being asked.

9.2.16 Plugin 2026-10-21

#### Someone just added to your team can open Respira in wp-admin within minutes

- Someone just added to your team can open Respira in wp-admin within minutes. Each site keeps a list of who may use Respira there, the account owner and the team, and refreshed it every six hours.

9.2.15 Plugin 2026-10-21

#### ChatGPT connects on hosts that answer /.well-known/ themselves

- ChatGPT connects on hosts that answer /.well-known/ themselves. On SiteGround, adding the site in ChatGPT stopped with "MCP server does not implement OAuth".
- The ChatGPT steps on Home and Setup match ChatGPT's current screens. ChatGPT moved custom servers to Plugins: chatgpt.com/plugins, then +, then Add custom MCP server, Server URL, OAuth, Create as a plugin, Connect and Approve. There is no Developer mode step any more.

What customers are asking for. Votes rank it.

#### \[Feature\] Elementor Pro Theme Builder: popups, template conditions, locations

Respira has no tools to create Elementor Pro popups, set popup triggers, or manage Theme Builder template conditions/locations. The only fallback (elementor-mcp) corrupted Elementor's conditions cache and wiped header/footer site-wide.

MCP

#### \[Feature\] respira\_upload\_theme function

Respira currently lacks a function to upload theme files to /wp-content/themes/. Adding respira\_wordpress-upload-theme would enable programmatic theme deployments without requiring FTP/SFTP access or manual file uploads.

MCPsite-token

#### \[Feature\] Theme Builder loop-item template + dynamic-tag wiring

Building a Loop Grid that pulls posts needs a loop-item Theme Builder template plus dynamic-tag bindings. Respira has no tool for either, so I fell back to a separate MCP (elementor-mcp).

MCP

#### per-builder write-hazard documentation

Expand the honest per-builder write-hazard notes with concrete, reproduced failure modes per builder (beyond the three verified guard rails already documented), once repro cases are collected from real sites.

docsbuilders

#### MCP Enterprise-Managed Authorization extension

Organization-wide MCP access governed through your identity provider (Okta, Entra and others), so a Team or Enterprise controls who connects and to which sites. Enterprise tier, built on request as part of an enterprise agreement.

MCPEnterprise

#### Full intelligence with blocksy / Gutenberg / slider revolution

The same way respira gives us full control over many page builders, having the same level of deep control with Blocksy / Gutenberg, and eventually Slider revolution if possible would be a game changer. If of course there's any value in adding this for the Respira team!

Plugin

#### compatibility with wpallimport export

will be ideal to use respira to manage all the things that https://www.wpallimport.com/ all import export can do. Like to be able to create a custom export for page, products categories, and all features that wp all import export offer

MCP

#### Feature request: read/write SmartCrawl Pro redirects via Respira

Please add native ability to list, create, update, and delete SmartCrawl Pro (wpmu-dev-seo) URL redirects. Today Respira can't touch them, so all redirect work has to be done by hand in wp-admin.
