Two questions, and a small idea, from the Netherlands

hey there,

writing this from the netherlands. i'm here with my daughter (almost 17), my son (11), and my partner of 27 years. we're going to see Stephen Sanchez perform on tuesday. she's a fan.

we saw him together two years ago in paris. she was fifteen. watching her watch him, songs she knew by heart, energy returned and amplified, was one of those moments you don't forget. someone made the music. someone built the venue. someone wrote the lyrics that meant something to a teenager. small craft, real people, real moments.

two years later, here we are again. same artist, deeper bond.

that's what i think about when i think about respira and the people using it.

a holiday gives you time your normal week doesn't. between morning coffees and long walks, my mind kept going back to the people on the other end of respira, the agencies, the solo builders, the WordPress people who decided this thing i made was worth their attention.

i don't ask often enough how it's actually going.

so two questions, while i have the quiet to listen.

how has respira been treating you?

the good, the bad, the ugly. what's working in your day to day, what's frustrating, what made you curse at your screen. i can take it. i'd rather hear the hard parts now than have you quietly leave later.

if you could change one thing about respira, what would it be?

not the next big feature. one thing. could be a bug, could be the onboarding, could be a builder that doesn't quite work for you, could be the pricing page, could be something obvious i'm missing. whatever the one thing is for you.

i'm reading every reply. one paragraph is enough. one sentence is enough.

while i'm here, watching my daughter commit to something she loves, i had a small idea i want to do something with.

annual licenses are a kind of commitment. monthly is "i'll try this." annual is "i'm in for the year, i'll stick with this while it matures, and i want a real seat in shaping where it goes." that's not a transaction. it's two people betting on each other.

so between today (april 26) and may 3, the first three people who upgrade to or buy an annual respira license get the entire year refunded. you keep the license, the priority access, the seat at the table. you just don't pay for it. the refund hits within 48 hours of the purchase.

three people. first come, ordered by completed payment.

eligible plans: maker, builder, and studio up to 50 sites. founder lifetime is intentionally excluded. €5,001 going out and immediately coming back would be a strange handshake, and founders are already in a deeper conversation with me than this email is. studio plans above 50 sites are also out of scope, those are bigger relationships and i'd rather have those over a call.

not a flash sale, not a discount. the price stays exactly what it is. i'm not lowering anything. just a small thank-you to the first three of you who decide to commit alongside me, born from a holiday moment with my daughter and a little gratitude for the people who let me build this.

see annual plans

thank you for being part of this, regardless of whether you upgrade. the listening matters more than the offer.

p.s. the three who win get a personal note from me confirming the refund, not an automated receipt.
