WHY THERE IS A CAR IN THIS EMAIL
Respira started with something very unglamorous: i wanted a proper family car, so we could drive across Europe with my kids and move somewhere for a while when a place called us. i was tired of not being able to do much with the money i earned building other people's things, so i started building my own.
That small, stubborn goal is what got Respira built. Somewhere along the way it stopped being about the car and became something more useful: infrastructure that lets AI do real WordPress work safely, so people who build sites for a living can deliver professional work in a fraction of the hours it used to take.
Nine months of that work bought the car. On Friday at 4 in the morning a drunk driver hit it where it was parked and wrote most of it off. Everybody was asleep indoors and nobody was hurt, which is the only part that really counts.

But it has not dented the thing underneath it, and if anything it made me more certain about what i am doing. i am back at the desk on Monday, building the best AI infrastructure WordPress can have, because that is the part i control, and it is what pays for putting the car back on the road.
Please do not buy anything out of sympathy. If Respira saves you hours it is worth it in a normal week, and if it does not, none of this should change your mind.
