Search the WordPress abilities registered on this site right now, from every active plugin, ranked by how well they match. Each result carries the plugin's own label, description, category and read-only and destructive annotations, whether Respira can invoke it now, and when it cannot, why_not: what the site owner has to change. Results also name a safer Respira replacement tool when one exists.

Until 9.1.0 this searched a list bundled with Respira. It now reads the site's own Abilities API at the moment of the call; the bundled list is still used where WordPress has no Abilities API.

Ranking puts a match on the ability's name first, then its label, plugin, category and description.

What it changes

Nothing. It only reads, so there is nothing to approve and nothing to undo.

Availability

Works on any WordPress site with the Abilities API. Live search needs plugin 9.1.0. On the site's own MCP endpoint the tool is respira_wordpress_search_abilities.

Notes

  • can_invoke is true when the ability is enabled by name at Respira > Abilities, or when the site owner has turned on "Let Respira run read-only abilities" and the ability's plugin declares it read-only and not destructive
  • Anything that can change the site, or that does not say it is read-only, still has to be enabled by name; why_not says which applies
