respira_get_guarded_update

The progress or the receipt of a guarded update run or a standalone backup: its steps with their state, and once finished the full receipt. Runs are kept for a day.

respira_get_guarded_update

The progress or the receipt of a guarded update run: its steps (preflight, restore point, update, health, rollback) with their state and detail, and once finished the full receipt (versions, advisory, every preflight answer, the four health checks, the rollback if any, duration). A standalone backup taken with respira_take_backup is read the same way. Runs are kept for a day.

Once finished, status is completed, outcome names the result and receipt holds the full receipt described on Guarded plugin update.

What it changes

Nothing. It only reads, so there is nothing to approve and nothing to undo.

Availability

Plugin 9.1.0. On the site's own MCP endpoint, where the tool is respira_wordpress_get_guarded_update. Not on the npm MCP server in 8.4.0.

Notes

  • respira_get_job_status with the job_id answers the same run from the job queue's side, and says how the job was started (dispatch) and what ran it (ran_via)
  • A run whose process stopped reporting reads back as failed rather than staying "running"
