243 days ago i said it's enough. i need to do something so i can afford a better family car. not for the car itself, but for what it means: traveling across Europe with my kids, and the freedom to relocate for a while whenever a place calls us. or visit you and have a coffee and discuss agentic WordPress :P
you know that feeling when you are fed up with yourself? with the bullshit you have been telling yourself? i lived for years in the past (regret) or in the future (anxiety) and almost never in the present, always with someone or something to blame for what was happening in my life. somehow, slowly, i got used to a different idea: that i want to steer my own life and that i can. that my past failures belonged to my past self, and they don't mean i can't succeed now.
around that same moment i was starting to build things with AI, and i needed to make some updates on a few WordPress sites. i knew there had to be a way for AI to write clean, compliant code and place it safely into my Divi site. a bridge. i started building it. it worked. and that's how Respira for WordPress was born.
every investor playbook says a bootstrapped founder should pour every euro back into the business. i'm doing the opposite for once: i found the car, and if everything goes well the purchase happens in about ten days.
what i've noticed is that this kind of short-term, tangible goal is tasty food for my creativity, and for the blind courage it takes to press "approve" on a coding plan an AI agent wrote from my scattered but coherent thoughts. which is why i have new things to announce, all released this week.
so if you've been on the fence about upgrading to Studio, or about grabbing one of the 4 founder seats still open, now is a genuinely good moment. and whichever way you go, i appreciate you for being an early user and a supporter, and for reading these words right now. your attention is valuable and i don't take it for granted.
sorry for the long intro. building alone gets lonely sometimes, and i've noticed that feedback helps, even when it arrives as a payment notification sound on my phone.

the WooCommerce add-on got dramatically better
the add-on now covers 87 tools. thanks to Adrian from the woocommerce.com support team, i added support for the official paid extensions: Subscriptions, Bookings and Memberships, all tested against the real plugins.
and immense thanks to Dale, a customer who pushed until i realized that work i shipped back in june was never actually deployed. fixed, and then some. Dale then went on to spend a week live-testing Respira's entire safety architecture and sent me 21 pages of evidence. that story deserves its own post, and it's coming soon, with his blessing.
the biggest addition is agent-ready commerce: making your store readable and shoppable for AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude, which already recommend products to millions of people. Shopify switched this on for all of its United States stores earlier this year. now your WooCommerce store can do the same. there are also two new skills: Woo Catalog Perfection (drives your catalog to an AI-readiness score of 90+) and Woo Agent Storefront (sets up the feeds and registrations end to end).

 Respira ARC, a free plugin i submitted to wp.org last night
|
the agent-readiness part of that work doesn't need Respira's infrastructure at all. so instead of locking it behind the add-on, i copied it into a free standalone plugin called Respira ARC (Agent-Ready Commerce). AI can only sell what it can read. ARC makes your store readable: product feeds in six formats, a store llms.txt, an AI-readiness score and attributed cart links, free forever, running entirely on your own server.

every plan now includes your first team member free, forever. one idea for what to do with it: gift read access to a client whose site you just built with Claude and Respira. they can ask their AI questions about their own content, get ideas for growing their business, and send more work your way as a result.
beyond that, invite as many people as you want. there are access levels, and site packs let you group sites and give a colleague access to just those. i kept the cost small and fair: at the end of the month you pay only for members who were actually active. €5 for a standard member, €10 for an admin. nobody active, no team invoice.

a new pricing page that makes things simpler (hopefully). prices did not change. there's also a clearer add-on roadmap on it: raise your hand for what you want so i know what to build first. white label is coming, priced together with the early agencies shaping it.

the sign-in page got a redesign and a hardening pass, triggered by a few of you writing in about login problems. thank you for the reports; sorry for the friction. it now also supports passkeys, so you can sign in with your fingerprint or face instead of a password. one thing that didn't change, because it was built this way from day one: sign-in and sign-up are the same page. i never understood why most platforms make you pick the right door before they'll talk to you. here you type your email, and if you have an account you sign in, and if you don't, one gets made. you shouldn't have to remember which one you are. if logging in ever gave you trouble, try it again and tell me if anything still feels off.

and one more: the agency consortium that took a founder studio+ seat earlier this year is the reason teams exists for everyone, and white label is next from that same collaboration. working that closely with one big customer taught me what larger teams actually need, so there's now an enterprise tier on the pricing page too, with enterprise-level authentication and other fancy words :)
