Two days ago the Respira WooCommerce Add-on became the most complete WooCommerce MCP: 56 tools, a snapshot before every write, refunds that preview before money moves. Today v3.1 changes what kind of thing it is. Your store stops being merely operable by an AI agent and becomes discoverable and shoppable by every AI assistant your customers already use. 79 tools now, and the update is live for every subscriber.
The discovery layer, built in
Shopify made its stores readable to ChatGPT, Copilot and Google AI Mode with one platform switch. v3.1 brings that to WooCommerce on your own terms: product feeds in six formats (Google Shopping XML, OpenAI JSONL, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, generic CSV), rebuilt in the background on your schedule and minutes after products change, served as static files from your own domain. Plus a store llms.txt at your site root, the summary file AI assistants look for first.
Five tools drive it: configure, generate, status, validate, and category mapping. The validator checks your rows against each platform's actual spec before you register anything with Merchant Center or OpenAI's merchant onboarding.
The score becomes a fix loop
v3.0 could score your catalog for AI readiness. v3.1 closes the loop: readiness_fixlist turns the scan into an ordered work queue, weakest products first, each failing check paired with the exact tool that fixes it. update_product gains GTIN and gallery support, set_image_alt writes the alt text that fails most often, and the catalog report now flags robots.txt lines that block AI crawlers. Say "fix every product failing the feed checks" and the agent works the queue until the catalog scores 90 or better, every change snapshotted and reversible for 90 days.
Assisted checkout, attributed
Native agent checkout programs are still gated behind waitlists and per-merchant approvals. What works today is the middle path: create_cart_link builds a signed URL an agent can hand a shopper. Opening it fills the cart server-side and lands on your own checkout. Tampered signatures get a 403. Orders arriving through cart links are attributed to their agent source twice over, through WooCommerce's native order attribution and a server-side order-meta safety net, and agent_orders_report shows you the orders and revenue by source. The same numbers appear on your respira.press dashboard as a new card.
Subscriptions, Bookings, Memberships
Woo granted development licenses for their three big extensions, so v3.1 ships 14 write tools tested against the real plugins, not mocks: list, inspect and transition subscriptions (every status change validated against what Subscriptions itself allows), reschedule bookings with a conflict scan before anything moves, pause and resume memberships, set end dates. Everything is dry-run by default, like the refund tools before them.
Two skills and two playbooks
woo-agent-storefront walks the whole setup, from feed configuration through registering with each platform, including the gated OpenAI program. woo-catalog-perfection runs the fix loop in reviewable batches. And the add-on now seeds two playbooks on activation: weekly-catalog-health, a read-only weekly digest, and prep-sale-weekend, which previews a discount campaign without writing anything.
The free half
The readable layer of v3.1 (feeds, llms.txt, the score, cart links) is also available standalone as Respira ARC, a free plugin i submitted to WordPress.org today. The add-on includes all of ARC, so subscribers need nothing extra; ARC exists so every WooCommerce store can be found, and so the store owners who then want an agent with hands know where to look.
Get it
v3.1 is rolling out to every add-on subscriber through the regular updater. New here: the add-on is 95 euro per year for Maker and Builder plans and included free with Studio and Founder. The full surface, all 79 tools, is on the add-on page, and the docs cover the agent-ready commerce layer end to end.
Everything above was verified against a live store before release: 71 automated checks through the published MCP server, the extension tools against the real Subscriptions, Bookings and Memberships plugins, and the cart link flow end to end, tampered signature included.
