About Respira

AI infrastructure for WordPress, built independently.

Safe AI workflows that speed up operations without breaking live client sites. Built in Brașov, Romania.

The Story

Why Respira exists

I'm Mihai, based in Brașov, Romania. I've spent 22 years building products across EdTech, marketing tech, and community platforms. Father of two. Builder at heart.

The problem that led to Respira: I needed to update an old Divi site with dozens of pages and hundreds of PDF links. Manual editing would take weeks. AI could do it in minutes, but one wrong move could break everything.

So I built infrastructure that lets AI work safely: duplicate before editing, approve when ready, never touch live pages without permission. No guesswork. No "hope this works." Just clean workflows that respect site architecture.

Respira for WordPress connects AI assistants (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to WordPress through 103 specialized tools that understand 12 page builders. Agencies use it to manage hundreds of sites faster without the traditional AI risk of breaking things.

The name comes from Latin: re-spirare, to breathe again. Simple systems that breathe.

Independent development (not VC-backed). Focused on reliability over feature bloat. Built for agencies who need speed without risk.

A note of appreciation

Every purchase, every bug report, every testimonial helps shape what Respira becomes. This isn't backed by VC money or a team of engineers. It's built between school runs and late nights, funded by people who believe WordPress and AI can work together safely.

If you've bought a license: thank you. You're making this sustainable.

If you've reported a bug: thank you. You're making this better for everyone.

If you've shared your experience: thank you. Your voice helps others trust what we're building.

This works because you're here.
