Common Issues
MCP Server Not Connecting
- Verify the path to the MCP server is correct
- Check that Node.js is installed:
node --version - Ensure the MCP server was built:
npm run build - Check the MCP server logs for errors
API Key Not Working
- Verify the API key is correct (no extra spaces or line breaks)
- Check that the API key is active in WordPress admin
- Ensure your WordPress site URL is correct (include https://)
- Check the audit log in WordPress admin for failed requests
Page Builder Not Detected
- Ensure the page builder plugin is installed and activated
- Check that you're viewing a page/post built with the page builder
- Some page builders require PRO version of Respira
Changes Not Saving
- Respira uses a duplicate-first workflow - check for duplicate pages
- Verify you have permission to edit the page/post
- Check the audit log for error messages
- Ensure content validation is passing (check security settings)
