The UX Builder is Flatsome's own page builder, and every page it makes is a tree of shortcodes in the post content: [section], [row] and [col] for layout, then the elements inside. Respira reads and writes those shortcodes with their attributes and nesting: banners (ux_banner), text boxes, buttons, images and video, titles, dividers and gaps, icon boxes and featured boxes, testimonials and team members, accordions and tabs, galleries, sliders (ux_slider), maps, menus and HTML blocks.

The shop elements come along: product grids (ux_products), product categories, product flips, sale countdowns and lookbooks. A change to one element leaves the rest of the tree as built, and the UX Builder opens the result as if you had edited it by hand. UX Blocks, the reusable blocks behind headers, footers and mega menus, are read and edited the same way, by post ID.

Flatsome Studio

Flatsome Studio is Flatsome's hosted library of ready-made layouts and elements, opened from inside the UX Builder. Respira does not browse or import from Studio; that stays in Flatsome's own interface. Once a Studio layout is on a page it is ordinary UX Builder shortcodes, and Respira reads and edits it like any other page.

  • Some legacy Flatsome 2.x layouts using unmaintained third-party shortcodes can lose attributes on round-trip. Duplicate first.
