Partner Program

Every Respira account has access to the partner program at dashboard/partner. Refer a customer, earn lifetime commissions on every dollar they spend with Respira. The program runs in-house — no third-party affiliate platform — which means lower friction, faster payouts, and no shared cookie pool.

Commission ladder

Commissions ladder up as your lifetime referral revenue grows:

Tier upgrades are automatic and applied retroactively to the start of the current month. Once you hit a tier, you stay at it for as long as your referrals remain active customers.

Lifetime means: as long as the referred customer keeps an active Respira subscription, you keep earning. Includes plan upgrades, stacked plans, add-on purchases (e.g., the WooCommerce add-on), and Founder one-time payments.

Your affiliate link

Every account gets a default affiliate link of the form:

The slug is auto-generated from your account name on first visit to the partner page. You can change it once per month from the Change slug card.

The link is a tracked deep-link — it works on any Respira public page, not just the homepage. Examples:

Append ?ref=<your-slug> (or &ref=<your-slug> if there are already query params) to any URL on the public site. The referral cookie persists for 60 days; any signup or purchase from that browser within 60 days is attributed to you.

What gets attributed

The cookie attaches the ref slug at first visit. Attribution events:

• New signup at respira.press/signup (or any signup form on the site)
• First paid plan purchase from a Lite/trial account
• Plan upgrade (Maker → Builder, etc.) within the 60-day window
• Plan stack (buying a second Maker on top of an existing one)
• Add-on purchases (WooCommerce add-on)
• Founder plan purchases (one-time, but high-value)

What does not count:

• Self-referrals (you can't refer yourself)
• Refunded purchases (commission reverses if the customer refunds within 30 days)
• Free Lite signups (no revenue, no commission — but they count toward your lifetime referral count for tier display purposes)

Tracking dashboard

The dashboard/partner page shows:

• This month's earnings — pending commissions for the current calendar month
• Lifetime earnings — all-time total
• Referrals — list of every customer who signed up with your link, what plan they're on, when they started, and how much you've earned from them
• Clicks — last 30 days of clicks on your affiliate link, broken out by source URL when available
• Payout history — every payout you've received, with date and method

You can export the full referral history as CSV from the Export button.

Payouts

Payouts run on the 15th of each month for the previous month's earnings, with a $50 minimum. If your earnings for a month are below $50, the balance rolls forward.

Two payout methods supported today:

• PayPal (any country PayPal supports). Set your PayPal email in the Payout settings card.
• Wise (formerly TransferWise). For accounts where PayPal is unavailable or expensive. Set your Wise account from the same card.

Wire transfers are available on request for monthly payouts above $5,000. Email word@respira.press with your bank details to set up.

Slug change limits

You can change your affiliate slug once per month. The old slug 301-redirects to the new one for 90 days, so existing inbound links keep working during the transition.

If you've shared your link in a podcast, YouTube video, or printed material and need a clean slug forever, that's the move — but think it through, because you can't change it again for 30 days.

Promotional materials

Once you opt in to the partner program from the partner page, the Resources card unlocks:

• Logo pack — Respira logos in light, dark, and monochrome
• Screenshots — current dashboard, plugin admin, MCP setup, sites table, before/after edit examples
• Pre-written posts — Twitter, LinkedIn, blog post intros you can adapt
• Email templates — for cold outreach to your network

Use them or write your own. We don't gate any of this behind tier requirements.

Disclosure

Wherever you share your affiliate link, you should disclose the relationship per FTC, ASA, or your local equivalent. A simple line works:

I earn a commission if you sign up for Respira through this link.

This is a courtesy to your audience and a legal requirement in most jurisdictions.

Questions

• Can I refer my own client? — Yes. As long as you're not paying for their plan, it counts.
• Do refunds reverse my commission? — Yes, within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days, the commission is locked in.
• Can I run paid ads pointing at my affiliate link? — Yes, but check Respira's acceptable use policy — bidding on the term "Respira" in Google Ads is not allowed.
• Is there a partner directory? — Not yet. If you'd like to be listed, email word@respira.press.
